Learn about different types of kitchen knives, their functions, knife safety, and different methods of cutting.
Ingredients: garlic, onion, carrots, tomato, and cucumber. Cutting board and knives available needed. Limited to 10 participants Recommended for ages 6 and older with parent supervision for the littles. Learn the components of plating, how to create food effects in plating, and how to embellish for flare.

Learn how to make the perfect egg in a variety of ways from scrambled to over easy to omelettes.
Ingredients needed: one dozen eggs, oil and butter. Saucepan and frying pan needed. Limited to 10 participants Recommended for ages 6 and older with parent supervision for the littles. Learn the basics of how to prepare pasta dough, cut dough, and cook fresh pasta.
Ingredients: Semolina flour or all-purpose flour, olive oil, kosher salt, water and egg. A pasta machine to roll dough is recommended, or a rolling pin with table/board space, if machine not available. Limited to 10 participants Recommended for ages 6 and older with parent supervision for the littles. |
